Bio: Jeff Morgan, FHFMA, CHAM has over 13 years of healthcare revenue cycle experience as Sr. Territory Sales Manager with Craneware. Jeff is a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP), and a Fellow within Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). Jeff is also a Certified Healthcare Access Manager, as certified by the National Association of Healthcare Access Managers (NAHAM). Jeff holds a degree from Appalachian State University – Bachelor in Business Administration-Finance.
Jeff has been a member of HFMA for 9 years and currently serves as the Vice President, becoming President in June 2017.

Bio: Connie is the Regional Vice President of Sales, Central Region for MedA/Rx. She has over 20 years of experience in the health care industry and has been a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association Greater St Louis Chapter since 2008. She has had the pleasure of serving on several committees throughout the years. Other HFMA Greater St Louis Chapter opportunities she has had include serving as the Membership Directory Chair, Program Committee for 2 years, Membership Committee for 2 years, Networking Committee for 2 years, and for one year on the 60th Anniversary Committee. She has been the recipient of the Follmer Bronze Award and has received the President’s Award in a number of different years.

Bio: Kevin is currently a Contract Management Consultant at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. He has master degrees in Healthcare Management and in Business Administration from Lindenwood University where he served as a Graduate Assistant for three years. Kevin has been a member of HFMA since 2011 where he began as a student member and became immediately engaged with chapter activities. He currently serves as both the Communications Chair for the Greater St. Louis Chapter as well as an active member of the Student Outreach Program. Kevin is also serving on the national level as an Early Careerist Task Force member. As a member of the task force he helps in identifying methods of engaging and retaining young professionals in their local chapters. As a result of this task force, toolkits hope to be developed and offered to chapters as a resource for the development planning of their own young professional engagement program. Kevin has earned New Member of the Year and Outstanding Contribution awards while a member of the chapter. He is excited to be a part of the Greater St. Louis Chapter as well as Region 8 and is looking forward to the great experiences in the years to come.

Bio: Tony has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Missouri State University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. I am also a licensed CPA in the state of Missouri. I have been a member of HFMA Greater St. Louis since 2010. I assisted HFMA Greater St. Louis with their certification policy and have attended several board meetings and conferences over the past four years. I have worked at St. Luke’s Hospital as the Reimbursement Manager since August 2012. Prior to St. Luke’s I worked at BKD for 2 years and at WPS for 4 years.

She has also held the roles of Program Chair and Founders Chair. She has been in healthcare for over 10 years in various financial roles. Theresa’s educational background is an undergraduate degree in Accounting and a MBA from Webster University. She is a licensed CPA, FHFMA, and has been an active member of the Greater St. Louis chapter of HFMA for 8 years.

Bio: Céline Wehmeier has over 10 years of experience in HealthCare. She started at SSM Health in 2004 where she has held various positions starting with Staff Accountant, Decision Support Analyst, Performance Improvement Consultant, and most recently Manager of Business Analytics for the Patient Business Services.

Céline has been active with the HFMA Greater St. Louis Chapter since 2013 and currently is the Chair of the Founders and Award Committee.

Bio: Kevin is currently a Contract Management System (CMS) Analyst at Centene Corporation, where he has worked for 4 years. He has a Bachelors degree in from Southeast Missouri State University and a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Lindenwood University. He has been a member of the HFMA Greater St. Louis Chapter since 2011 as a student member and has served on several committees including Networking, Communications, and currently, the Website committee Chair. In addition, Kevin has been involved the the Student Outreach Program where he travels to various universities around the St. Louis Metro area and speaks to the students about HFMA. He has been awarded multiple outstanding contribution awards for his work with both Communications and Website committees. Having been recently married, he is looking forward to adding to what is already a great year!

Simone Cummings is the Dean of the George Herbert Walker School of Business & Technology at Webster University.  She was previously an Associate Professor and MHA Program Director at Webster University and has taught courses in healthcare finance at various institutions for over twenty years.  Simone has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Washington University, a master’s degree in health administration from the Washington University School of Medicine, and a PhD in health policy and management from UNC-Chapel Hill.
